Tavis and Karin’s wedding was as unfussy as it can get. There were no bridesmaids, no groomsmen, no maid of honor, no best man. They did not do a first sight, the bride did not walk down the aisle, there was no first dance nor did they toss any bouquet or garter. But even in its pared-down simplicity, the wedding was no less meaningful than any other wedding we’ve covered. They were as excited as any other bride and groom. We all appreciated the importance of allocating time to get their bride and groom portraits done as well as ones taken with their immediate family. The ceremony was not without nervous but loud laughter followed by a tear-filled exchange of vows. Champagne flowed freely and excited chatter filled Seasons in the Park Restaurant as the bride and groom mingled with their dearest friends and family during cocktails and enjoyed an elegant dinner reception. And as expected, the speeches evoked more emotion from Tavis and Karin as they are reminded of how much they are loved and how everybody celebrated their union that day. Here are a few of our favorite shots from the day:
Congratulations, Tavis and Karin! We are honoured to be a part of your day!
